Senior Bowl Rosters: Anthony Allen Added, Chan Gailey Coaching

Anthony Allen was officially named to the Senior Bowl today. The game is at 3 p.m. on January 29, 2011 in Mobile, Alabama and will be broadcast on the NFL Network.

Allen, a senior running back for the Jackets, transfered from Louisville and took over the B-Back position from Jonathan Dwyer. The Florida native ranked second in the ACC and 18th nationally with 1,316 yards rushing, and finishes his career with 3,036 yards on the ground. He helped the Jackets lead the nation in rushing at 323 yards per game.

The coach of the south team for the Senior Bowl? None other than Chan Gailey, currently of the Buffalo Bills and former Georgia Tech coach.

The two southern conferences will have a huge presence in the game, ranking first and second with most players honored. The SEC has 22 total, and the ACC has 18. For the full rosters, head to the Senior Bowl website
