Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia Tech: Logan Thomas Touchdown Pass Gives Hokies First Lead

Stay connected for news and updates

After tying the game, it didn't take long for Virginia Tech to come right back and take the lead. Logan Thomas found Jarrett Boykin for a nine yard touchdown to make the score 14-7.

David Wilson was the main culprit on Virginia Tech's seven play, 70 yard drive that took just 2:46 off the clock. Wilson gashed the Tech defense for over 60 yards rushing and now has 84 yards in the game on 11 carries.

After four straight runs by Wilson, it looked like the Hokies drive might stall out inside the red zone. However, Thomas found Boykin on third down to give Virginia Tech its first lead of the game. Thomas has completed just 3 of 7 passes for 60 yards and has rushed for 31 more.
