Georgia Tech is hopeful that it will get a boost to its offensive line in time for its match up against Virginia Tech however, it didn't happen on Tuesday as both players were held out of practice.
Finch injured his lower leg against Miami and did not play in Tech's upset victory over Clemson. The 6-foot-3, 280 pound center is hopeful that he will be healed enough to return to the lineup. Nick McRae got the start in place of Finch against Clemson.
Will Jackson suffered a neck injury against the Tigers. Paul Johnson said that tests revealed no problems with Jackson's neck and it is just a matter of him deciding when he is ready to get back out on the field. Shaq Mason played the entire second half against Clemson and would figure to get the start if Jackson weren't able to play.
