Finch, a 6'3 280 sophomore, started Georgia Tech's first seven games at center before injuring his lower leg in the first play from scrimmage in their 24-7 loss to Miami on Oct. 22.
After missing the Clemson game and being held out of practice last week, Finch is ready for the No. 21 Yellow Jackets nationally televised showdown at No. 10 Virginia Tech, which should decide which team will represent the ACC Coastal Division in the ACC Championship Game.
Finch, a Georgia native, is a key cog in the offensive line, especially in Johnson's triple-option offense.
His play will be crucial to controlling the line of scrimmage against the Hokies, who as usual, have a highly ranked defense. Virginia Tech gives up only 15.4 points a game, sixth best in the nation.
