Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia Tech Odds: Jackets Slight Favorite

Stay connected for news and updates

Georgia Tech opens as a slight 1.5 point underdog at home in Thursday night's pivotal ACC matchup against Virginia Tech. Perhaps influenced by the Yellow Jackets' impressive victory over Clemson, 57 percent of people placing bets are taking Georgia Tech and the points according to Oddsshark.com.

Georgia Tech is 7-2 overall this season and 5-3-1 against the spread. The Yellow Jackets are just 1-3-1 against the number in the last five games with the lone win coming against Clemson.

Virginia Tech enters the game with an 8-1 overall record but has played a ton of close games as their 2-7 mark against the spread suggests. Despite that, the Hokies are 19-2 over their last 21 games regardless of the spread.

The over/under for the game has been set at 50. After obliterating the over early in the season, the Yellow Jackets have been under in four of the last five games. This game figures to be no different as Virginia Tech has been under in six of its last eight games and six of its last seven on the road.
