2011 College Football Hall Of Fame Class To Be Announced Tuesday Morning

Stay connected for news and updates

The rest of the 2011 College Football Hall of Fame induction class, which already includes Ohio St. Buckeyes RB Eddie George and Michigan Wolverines coach Lloyd Carr, will be announced at a Tuesday ceremony in New York City. One other coach and 13 other players are scheduled to be added to the class, which will be entered into the hall in July.

The event is set for the site of the NASDAQ Market in Times Square at 11:30 am ET, and can purportedly be viewed live online at the National Football Foundation's website

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets QB Joe Hamilton is a first-ballot candidate, making him a longshot to earn enshrinement this time around. He's joined by three fellow Peach State greats, all Georgia Bulldogs: DB Jake Scott, OT Matt Stinchcomb and DB Scott Woerner. The Hall is supposed to move from South Bend to Atlanta in March 2013.
