Georgia Tech quarterback Tevin Washington became the second quarterback in school history to run for 2,000 yards and pass for another 2,500 in the Yellow Jackets' 37-17 win over the Boston College on Saturday.

Washington rushed 17 times for 63 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday to join the record books.

Washington, a senior quarterback, leads the team with 887 yards passing and four touchdowns, while completing 61.6 percent of his passes. He also leads the team in rushing with 111 carries for 471 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Head coach Paul Johnson says he is open to playing a two-quarterback system for the remainder of the season, but his decision will be determined by players' performances in practice.
