BYU vs. Georgia Tech preview: Jackets go for second win in a row

Yellow Jackets host the Cougars in an nonconference matchup this weekend.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets step out of conference to play the BYU Cougars this Saturday. A win over the Cougars would bring the Jackets back to .500, and it would also be their second win in a row.

BYU comes into the week at 4-4 after suffering a narrow defeat at Notre Dame on Saturday. The Cougars have lost two games in a row, though both losses came against teams ranked in the nation's top 10. BYU has wins over Washington State, Weber State, Hawaii and Utah State this season.

Georgia Tech features one of the country's top-ranked rushing attacks and the team is No. 15 in total offense. The Cougars are just No. 82 in total offense, but they are No. 4 in total defense and No. 8 in rushing defense, allowing 93.1 rushing yards per game.
