Kevin Liles-US PRESSWIRE

The status of Georgia Tech offensive lineman Will Jackson is unknown for Saturday's game.

Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson did not give a straight answer on the availability of offensive tackle Will Jackson for Saturday's game against BYU, according to the AJC.

Jackson suffered a shoulder injury against Boston College on Saturday. Jackson did not return to the game. Morgan Bailey replaced Jackson in the game.

The Yellow Jackets (3-4, 2-3) snapped a three-game losing streak with a 37-17 win over Boston College on Saturday. Georgia Tech scored 28 first-half points and held the Eagles to just three into halftime.

Even without Jackson, Georgia Tech racked up 391 rushing yards. Zach Laskey rushed for 101 yards on 17 carries, Tevin Washington added 63 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, and Vad Lee had 62 yards and a score on 11 carries.

The Cougars head into Saturday's game with a 4-4 record. BYU has lost two games in a row, but both came against top-10 teams. The Cougars lost to No. 10 Oregon State, 42-24, and No. 5 Notre Dame, 17-14.
