After being forced to leave Georgia Tech's 37-17 victory over Boston College on Saturday with a shoulder injury, the status of OT Will Jackson for Saturday's game against Brigham Young is still unknown.
Jackson, a three-year starter with the versatility to play guard and tackle, has been a key cog on the Yellow Jackets offensive line since his red-shirt freshman year, when he was a first-team freshman All-American.
If Jackson is unable to go, according to a report from the Atlanta Journal Constitution, sophomore Morgan Bailey will get the start at right tackle while Bryan Chamberlain or Tyler Kidney would be the first sub. At guard, that would leave either Tyler Braun or Errin Joe as the first sub.
While Georgia Tech survived Jackson's absence against the Eagles, a staunch BYU defense will provide a much steeper test of their line depth. The Cougars give up only 14 points a game, eighth best in the nation.
