Georgia Tech are entering their bye week with some of the usual bumps and bruises, and have time to rest up and get healthy.
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets had a couple players leave the game against Clemson with injuries. Center Jay Finch was injured in the first half, and did not return. His absence hurt the Yellow Jackets, as his replacement, Catlin Alford, botched a snap that effectively ended a drive in the third quarter.
Guard Omoregie Uzzi left the game briefly with an undisclosed injury, but was able to return. A-back Orwin Smith also was briefly out of the game, but was able to return.
Starting inside linebacker Quayshawn Nealy dressed for the game, but didn't see any time on the field due to an undisclosed injury.
The good news for the Yellow Jackets is that they're entering their bye week this week, so the injured players have time to rest and rehab their injuries. They come back and take on Boston College on Oct. 20, attempting to end an ugly three-game losing streak.
