The 6'2 225 inside-linebacker runs a 4.6 40 and was the No. 30 rated player in the state of Alabama.

The state of Georgia, located in the heart of SEC country, is heavily recruited by almost all of the major powers in the South, which means Georgia Tech has to be able to win recruiting battles for out-of-state players like Hankins.

Beating out a top 10 program like Arkansas for a guy they wanted is a nice victory for Paul Johnson's staff.
