The North Carolina Tar Heels and the Florida State Seminoles will meet on Sunday in the 2012 ACC Tournament Championship game after both teams survived semifinal Saturday.

North Carolina defeated Maryland on Friday and survived NC State on Saturday 69-67. The Tar Heels played without injured forward John Henson on Saturday and his status for Sunday's championship game is uncertain. Florida State defeated Miami on Friday and then upset second seeded Duke on Saturday 62-59. In the only regular season meeting between the two clubs, it was the Seminoles who hammered the Tar Heels 90-57
