Maryland Vs. Wake Forest Score Update: Terrapins Lead At Halftime, 36-31

Stay connected for news and updates

The 2012 ACC Tournament is underway at Phillips Arena in Atlanta. The opening match has tipped off between the No. 8 seed Maryland Terrapins and the No. 9 seed Wake Forest Demon Deacons. At halftime, the Terps hold a 36-31 lead.

Wake Forest (13-17, 4-12 ACC) managed to keep the game close throughout the first half against Maryland (16-14, 6-10 ACC) and it could be argued that the Demon Deacons are playing better basketball than their regular-season record would indicate. They trail by just five during the break.

Wake Forest guard C.J. Harris is leading all scorers through the first half with 13 points. No Maryland players have reached double-digits in scoring as of yet. Terrell Stoglin has put up nine points and Nick Faust has eight.
