Markus Kennedy Considering Georgia Tech Transfer, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

Villanova freshman Markus Kennedy is reportedly considering transferring and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are one of the schools where he could land for next season. The Yellow Jackets were mentioned alongside Florida, Ohio State and Auburn as other possibilities.

Kennedy averaged 3.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game for the Wildcats this season. Villanova issued a release announcing the transfer and then reports surfaced that he was having second thoughts and had approached Jay Wright about returning to the team. His status is still in doubt hence the transfer rumors linking him to Tech.

Kennedy is a 6-foot-9, 260lb forward from the Philadelphia area that would add some much needed depth to the Georgia Tech frontcourt should he follow through with the transfer and select the Yellow Jackets for his new team.
