Texas A&M is looking for a new athletic director ever since Bill Byrne retired back on May 8, and there is a report that Georgia Tech's Dan Radakovich has been targeted to head West to take the same position with Texas A&M. However, Radakovich has come out and denied this:
In an e-mail, Radakovich dismissed the report's accuracy, writing that he has "not had a minute to think about another job." Set to officially join the SEC on Sunday, Texas A&M is searching for a replacement for former AD Bill Byrne, who retired in May.
"I am sure Texas A&M is a great job," Radakovich said. "But I have one at Tech."
Radakovich is well regarded among the SEC circles since he worked previously at South Carolina as an associate athletic director and also at LSU where he was the senior associate athletic director.
He made it very clear that he is denying any interest in the Texas A&M job.
