The ACC Media Days are going on despite all of the Penn State headlines, and SB Nation wants to know if Georgia Tech can return to its 2008 form.
The ACC began its media frenzied sessions on Sunday, just the day before the NCAA lays the hammer down on Penn State for shrugging its shoulder to ongoing criminal activity (raping children) at their football facilities and also a day before Big 12 Media Day. It's a heavy week for college football, and not all for the best reasons, but the conferences will press-on.
So will the media, as our very own Bud Elliot brings you live updates from Greensboro in this StoryStream here. A couple of his questions on Georgia Tech are like many Yellow Jackets fans and area college football fans in general: Can Georgia Tech get back to its 2008-09 level? Has Georgia Tech brought in the type of talent that will enable it to again compete for ACC titles?
All of this remains to be seen, but those are the kind of questions GA Tech is answering at media day, and will more appropriately have to answer on the field starting this fall.
