2012 ACC Media Days: Synjyn Days Could Move To A-Back

A change of position could be in the cards for Synjyn Days if he is unable to overtake incumbent Tevin Washington as quarterback in the opening few weeks of camp. Davis is a dynamic athlete and could move to A-Back according to Yellow Jackets' head coach Paul Johnson.

"If he doesn't beat Tevin (Washington) out in the first two weeks of fall camp, I don't want him standing over there (on the sideline) in a baseball cap." Johnson affirmed Days' playmaking ability and his desire to get him on the field but noted also his habit of fumbling.

Barring injury it seems that Days would be unlikely to beat out Washington given his firm grasp of Johnson's offense. However, Days playmaking ability would do the offense well by being on the field. Lining up with both Washington and Days together could also bring a multitude of options for Johnson.
