ACC Media Days 2012: Yellow Jackets Picked To Finish 2nd In Coastal Division

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are picked to finish second behind Virginia Tech in the ACC's Coastal Division. Florida State is the overwhelming favorite to win the conference grabbing 60 of 95 votes. Virginia Tech is a distant second and Clemson came in the third. Georgia Tech received three votes as conference champion.

Clemson's Sammy Watkins narrowly beat out Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas as preseason player of the year in the ACC. E.J. Manuel and Tajh Boyd finished third and fourth. No Georgia Tech player received any votes for preseason player of the year.
