Jason Morris had a tough season in 2012 but feels like he has finally recovered from a toe injury that plagued him for pretty much all of last season.
Morris originally injured his toe during a pickup game during last summer and never really recovered. He said he also played last season with several other undisclosed injuries and estimated that he was only 60-70 percent healthy. His numbers reflected that as well as his shooting percentage plummeted from 41 percent as a freshman to 35 percent last season.
"I didn't feel like I was agile at all, because my foot was messed up from Day One till the last day against Miami,"
Morris indicates that he is currently 90-95 percent healthy and according to head coach Brian Gregory it has showed in offseason workouts. Morris will be a key player for the Yellow Jackets after the dismissal of Glen Rice Jr from the program.
