Miami Vs. Georgia Tech Score: Yellow Jackets Trail Hurricanes, 19-0

At the end of the first quarter, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets trail the Miami Hurricanes, 19-0.

Miami opened the scoring less than a minute into the game when Stephen Morris connected with Phillip Dorsett on a 65-yard touchdown pass. Georgia Tech took the ball to midfield on the next drive, before ultimately turning the ball over on downs.

At that point, things began to slow down, with the teams exchanging punts before Jake Wieclaw hit a 38-yard field goal. On the ensuing kickoff, however, Orwin Smith put his hand on the ground while kneeling in the end zone, which was ruled a safety. That may sound weird, so here's a gif of the play from @bubbaprog. On the next drive, Miami took the ball right down the field, and Mike James scored on a 1-yard run as the quarter expired to make it 19-0.

Georgia Tech has yet to attempt a pass, and has 39 yards rushing as a team. B.J. Bostic is leading the way for the Yellow Jackets with 15 yards on two carries. Morris is off to a nice start, going 9-13 for 149 yards and a touchdown. Duke Johnson has yet to really get going, and has 8 yards on only two carries.
