Stay connected for news and updates

The Yellow Jackets offense is officially on fire as they scored two more unanswered touchdowns in the third quarter to give Georgia Tech a 36-22 lead at home over the Miami Hurricanes.

It took the Yellow Jackets just four plays to find pay dirt on the opening drive of the quarter when RB Tony Zenon carried the ball 35 yards for his first touchdown of the day.

Quarterback Tevin Washington would then get his third rushing touchdown from 2 yards out after he hooked up with WR Jeff Greene for a 58-yard connection on the Yellow Jackets very next drive.

Miami finally retaliated against Georgia Tech's scoring frenzy when they took the ball 74 yards on 17 plays for a Jake Wieclaw 23-yard field goal. Miami was driving again to close out the third and currently have the ball at Georgia Tech's 40 early in the fourth.
