Georgia Tech's 1-2 ACC record puts it in an early hole in the conference standings.

The only team in the ACC to have played three conference games, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, have dropped two of their first three in-conference showdowns, and sit in the middle of the conference's Coastal division early in the 2012 college football season.

The Yellow Jackets trail both the Miami Hurricanes (2-0 in conference) and Virginia Tech Hokies (1-0) after four weeks of play. Georgia Tech dropped a tough overtime battle to the Hurricanes in last weekend's action.

The Duke Blue Devils (0-0), North Carolina Tar Heels (0-1) and Virginia Cavaliers (0-1) sit behind the Yellow Jackets in the Coastal division.

The Florida State Seminoles (2-0) lead the early action in the Atlantic Division, with Wake Forest Demon Deacons (1-1) one game back of the highly ranked Seminoles. The winners of the two divisions will meet in the ACC Championship Game during the final weekend of the season, with the winner being assured of a BCS bowl bid.
