Masters 2012: Bubba Watson Is 3 Strokes Back Of Leader Heading Into Final Round

Stay connected for news and updates

Bubba Watson started Round 3 a bit bumpy on the front nine holes where he bogied two holes and was 2-over through five holes, but then converted two birdies to get back to even at the halfway point.

On the back nine Watson was able to pick up his game as he birdied holes 13, 15 and just like most all golfers birdied on hole No. 18. Watson had only one bogey during that stretch which came early at hole No. 11.

Watson now heads into Sunday play just three strokes behind Peter Hanson who shot a 7-under on Saturday and is 9-under overall for the tournament.
