2012 U.S. Open: Low Scores Are Hard To Come By For Early Groups

The lower portion of the leaderboard had a tough go during the third round of the 2012 U.S. Open as the majority of that field is struggling to make par on Saturday. Currently only 13 players are at even par or better, and seven of those are still playing their front nine.

So far the only golfer to finish their round under par is Steve LeBrun who shot a 1-under 69 for the day which included three birdies and a pair of bogeys. Looking to join LeBrun with a better than par score in the third round is Angel Cabrera and Jordan Spieth. Both Cabrera and Spieth are at 1-under par through 17 holes.

The top of the leaderboard is starting to tee off with the full slate of golfers being under way by 6:05 p.m. ET.
