U.S. Open 2012: Webb Simpson Earns $1.44 Million With Win

With the biggest win of his career, Webb Simpson will, of course, earn the biggest payday of his career. The U.S. Open winner will rake in $1.44 million.

But as one of golf's four majors, the U.S. Open can provide a substantial prize to any golfer that finishes near the top of the leaderboard.

Here's the payout for the top-10 at the U.S. Open:
