NBA schedule 2012: Hawks host the Heat Friday, face Clippers Sunday

The Atlanta Hawks play the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Clippers this weekend. What are some other notable NBA games coming up?

The Atlanta Hawks have a big weekend of basketball coming up. Friday night, the Hawks host the Miami Heat at Philips Arena with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. On Sunday afternoon the Hawks travel to play the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. Both games will be broadcast on SportSouth television and WCNN 680 AM and 93.7 FM for Radio.

In other major NBA games this weekend, Friday night has the Utah Jazz facing the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. The game tips off at 10:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN. Another big Friday game will be the New York Knicks hosting the Dallas Mavericks at Madison Square Garden with tip-off at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the Boston Celtics take on the Milwaukee Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, tip-off scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EST. Also on Saturday, the Portland Trail Blazers will play the San Antonio Spurs at the Rose Garden, with tip-off scheduled for 10:00 p.m. EST.
