The Hawks will face the Thunder on the second night of a back-to-back this Wednesday, one day after playing the Wizards in Washington. Here's a full look at this week's NBA schedule.
The Atlanta Hawks have a tough test ahead of them this week, as they play the Washington Wizards and the Oklahoma City Thunder on back-to-back nights. The Hawks travel to Washington on Tuesday night before returning home to host the Thunder on Wednesday.
The Wizards have the worst record in the NBA at 3-18, but have played many of their recent opponents fairly closely. If the Hawks are looking ahead to the Thunder when they're in D.C., they very well could go home with a loss.
The Thunder have won 10 straight games, and are the hottest team in the NBA. They have a tough game on Monday against the San Antonio Spurs, but could have an 11-game streak when they come to Atlanta on Wednesday.
Elsewhere in the NBA, Jeremy Lin will return to Madison Square Garden for the first time since leaving New York as a free agent on Monday night, as the Rockets take on the Knicks. The Heat will face Ricky Rubio and the Timberwolves on Tuesday night, and the Knicks and Nets will renew acquaintances in MSG on Wednesday.
