The Atlanta Hawks will try to keep pace in the Eastern Conference when they play two straight nights against Washington and Memphis.
After snapping a six-game winning streak, the Atlanta Hawks got back to their winning ways against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday. Now aiming to start another streak in key early season play, the Hawks will have to deal with a back-to-back over the first full weekend of December.
The Hawks welcome the Washington Wizards into town on Friday night before heading out on the road for a showdown with the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Atlanta's meeting with Memphis will be the first in a three-game road set for the Hawks, who have compiled a 4-2 record on the road in the early going.
In November, the Hawks defeated the Wizards, 101-100, in overtime.
Here's the entire weekend schedule for the Hawks:
Washington Wizards vs. Atlanta Hawks, Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m. ET
Atlanta Hawks vs. Memphis Grizzlies, Dec. 8, 8 p.m. ET
