Georgia Tech's Sean Bedford Finalist for Lowe's Senior CLASS Award

Georgia Tech center Sean Bedford has been named a finalist for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. The award recognizes student athletes that are classified as seniors and have excelled in four areas -- community, classroom, character, and competition.

Bedford, a former walk-on, is an aerospace engineering major and was named to the 2009 All-ACC First Team. The winner is determined by fan voting.

Other southern players named as one of the ten finalists include Ryan Pugh (Auburn), Christian Ponder (Florida State), Ras-I Dowling (Virginia), and Anthony Castonzo (Boston College).
