Milwaukee Bucks Vs. Atlanta Hawks: Bucks 54, Hawks 40 HALF: Terrible Second Quarter Dooms Hawks

Al Horford and the Atlanta Hawks were flying all over Philips Arena, nailing shot-after-shot en route to building a 13 point first quarter lead. But then the Milwaukee Bucks decided to show up to work.  Corey Maggette lead a furious assault off of the bench for the Bucks, who outscored Atlanta 33-14 in the second quarter.

Maggette posted 16 points and Ersan Ilyasova added nine for the Bucks, who are looking to break a six-game regular season losing streak in Atlanta.  The Milwaukee bench has outscored their Hawks counterparts 34-6.

Horford has 12 points on 5-for-5 shooting, but sat on the bench for most of the final three minutes of the first quarter while Milwaukee forged a comeback.  Joe Johnson has 10 points, while Mike Bibby and Josh Smith have poured in six apiece.

Jamal Crawford has failed to provide a spark off of the bench. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year 0-for-2 with three assists and is a game-worst minus-26 in the contest.  Smith has four boards and two blocked shots for Atlanta, which is trying to avoid a three-game losing streak.
