The 105th installment of Clean Old Fashioned Hate will kick off at 7:45 p.m. the SEC and ACC announced today, and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. The two teams are tied for fourth with longest active bowl streaks, standing at 13 consecutive years for both schools. Georgia currently stands at five wins, and their streak will be on the line. Georgia Tech still has one more game against Duke before the matchup. If both teams come into the game needing one win for bowl eligibility, it will add even more intrigue to the rivalry game.
↵The game time certainly is a bit of a surprise. Both teams have had disappointing seasons, and many expected a noon or early afternoon kickoff. At first glance, this definitely favors the Bulldogs, as night games tend to help the home field advantage.
