College Basketball UPSET ALERT: Kennesaw St. Owls Trouncing Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Under four minutes to go in the Kennesaw State University Convocation Center, the Kennesaw St. Owls are beating the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 69-56. The Owls have led since the first bucket, and had an 18-point advantage late in the first half. KSU is outshooting the Jackets by almost ten percent, and has doubled up the Gold and White's assist total, 16 to eight.

Owls F LaDaris Green leads all scorers with 19, followed by Owls G Spencer Dixon and Jackets G Iman Shumpert at 18. Green also leads with 11 rebounds.

We all knew Paul Hewitt's Jackets were going to struggle this year minus Gani Lawal and Derrick Favors, but wow. The Owls lost to Tech by 25 last year, and lost eight of their last nine games in general. In the biggest home game in KSU history, the Owls have certainly announced their presence in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The lead's up to 70-56 with about three minutes to go since I started typing this.
