My good friend Ryan Classic (from the SB Nation blog Silver Seven Sens) has compiled a list of NHL defensemen with more points than Ilya Kovalchuk (who just has just four goals and 6 assists on the season so far). Two of them are on Atlanta. One of them (Dustin Byfuglien) has twice as many goals as Kovy does.
