College Basketball Recruiting: Georgia and Vanderbilt Among Schools In The Running For Milton High's Dai-Jon Parker

Top 100 basketball prospect Dai-Jon Parker of Milton High School will announce his college decision on Friday. Parker will choose between Georgia, Vanderbilt, Oregon State, Oklahoma State, and Rhode Island. Parker is a 6'4" shooting guard that is an exceptional athlete and has some major college offers as a football player.

Parker has good size for a shooting guard and is known as Milton High's top defensive player as he is typically assigned to guard the opposing teams best player. He is currently ranked as the 45th best player overall by ESPN.com and is ranked 15th at his position

Georgia Basketball could really use some good news on the recruiting front given that they have recently lost out on South Atlanta's Nick Jacobs to Alabama and Parker's Milton High teammate Julian Royal to Georgia Tech.  Georgia has received commitments from five star shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell along with big men Tim Dixon and Juco product John Florveus. Mark Fox is also expected to have Football recruit Nick Marshall on next year's basketball team.
