Georgia Tech Basketball Schedule: Jackets Host Savannah State Today At 4 p.m.

Georgia Tech (4-4) will try to snap a three game losing streak when they host Savannah State today at 4 p.m. The Jackets have dropped games to Syracuse (80-76), Northwestern (91-71), and Georgia (73-72) in the past two weeks.

The Savannah State Tigers are 1-9 on the season, with their only win coming on opening night against Brewton Parker College. Their most recent game was a 79-57 loss at Indiana.

After today, the Jackets have a week off for final exams and will return to action on December 18, when they take on Richmond in the Bahamas.

The two teams have never met before. Tech currently has a record of 549-189 at Alexander Memorial, and could reach the milestone 550th home win with a victory today.

The Tigers are led in scoring by Jovonni Shuler and Preston Blackmon, who have 17.0 and 11.6 points per game respectively. Jyles Smith leads the team in rebounding.
