Gator Bowl Just Does It For The Love Of The Game That Makes Money

The college football bowl experience is a sacred tradition that rewards student-athletes for a year's worth of hard work, proving a weeklong celebration and the perfect conclusion to the most unique regular season in sports. The BCS is corrupt and crooked, and college football can't go to a playoff since non-BCS bowls would lose out. Hey wait a minute:

Can you imagine what would happen if LeBron James said, "I'm not about basketball. I'm about economic impact." How about Roger Gooddell? "The Super Bowl is not about football. It's about economic impact"? That would be a problem, and the NFL doesn't try to sell itself as a non-business. Just about the only sports figure who could get away with uttering something like this: Cecil Newton, is only because everybody already knew that.
