I kid. I kid.

I don’t.

Anyway, Stan Lee’s much talked about Guardian Project, which is a joint venture between Lee and the NHL to broaden marketing venues. Each team has a specific cool comic book hero dedicated to them, but no one has a clue what character belongs to what team. If you’d like to find out the Thrashers’ character sooner rather than later, the Project is having a vote to see what guys get revealed when. The hint for the Thrashers’ guy is that he’s the “Consummate Southern Gentleman.” Something about being gentlemanly and sipping a mint julep doesn’t exactly mesh with a bunch of guys and sticks, but hey – I’m looking forward to seeing what Mr. Lee has up his sleeve.

The “probably obvious to everyone but the people in the comic book” secret identities of the superheros will be revealed at the 2011 All-Star game.
