NFL Week 17 TV Schedule And Odds, Early Games: Panthers-Falcons, Bucs-Saints, Raiders-Chiefs

Early games:

Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons, 1, Fox: Only two NFC games among the early slate, and both are NFC South contests. The Falcons need a win against the NFL's worst offense to assure themselves of home field advantage and a division title. Otherwise, we're rooting for the Bucs. The South will be won by the mid-afternoon. Previews and live coverage? Oh yes indeed. Join The Falcoholic and Cat Scratch Reader for more. Line: Falcons -15.5

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints, 1, Fox: A win by the Saints means the Falcons must beat the Panthers. Aren't all these late-season division games awesome? A Bucs win would be too much to ask for (and probably a bad thing in the long run, since it would give New Orleans a little pre-playoffs jolt), but we can at least hope for a very hard-fought game, maybe a nice overtime affair? Roll up on Bucs Nation and Canal Street Chronicles today. Line: Saints -9.5

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs, 1, CBS: Deigning to write up an AFC game because the early schedule is littered with them, and only throwing words at two games feels like cheating. POLL: do you know anybody who hates the Chiefs? I've always felt the Chiefs are the NFL's least unpopular team. How could anyone hate the Chiefs, except for a fan of a division rival? Aren't you so glad I spent time writing about this? Visit Arrowhead Pride and Silver And Black Pride for pride and actual writeups. Line: Chiefs -4
