SEC Championship Game Score: Cam Newton Scores 19th Rushing TD, Auburn Up 14-7

On the first drive of the game for the Auburn Tigers, they scored via Cam Newton pass. One their next series, Newton used his legs to score the Tigers second touchdown of the game, scoring on a 5-yard touchdown run to give Auburn the 14-7 lead with 5:37 left in the first quarter.

Newton already has 24 rushing yards on four carries along with 112 passing yards and one touchdown. He was able to keep the drive alive as he rushed for 20-yards on a third-and-12 play at midfield. There was a spy on Newton but the linebacker for South Carolina was no match for the quarterback from Atlanta.

As mentioned before, it's going to be a tough road for the South Carolina Gamecocks because they have no answer for Newton. As expected, Newton has been doing it all for the Tigers and will continue to do it all for Auburn if South Carolina doesn't make the adjustments to stop Newton. But even if they make adjustments, it probably won't matter because Newton has been making defenses look bad all year long.
