Dear Canada: The Thrashers Aren't Moving To Quebec City. Sorry.

The NHL’s board of governors meeting this week drew speculation over the movement of teams in markets that are non-traditional to Canadian markets. Since the Phoenix Coyotes are being purchased by Matthew Hulsizer, chances are pretty good they’re staying put. Apparently folks need a new team to focus on, so hey – why not the Thrashers?

Scott Burnside of ESPN.com has a great rebuttal to why not just Atlanta, but no NHL team will be leaving their town anytime soon. It’s a shame that fans can’t enjoy the team’s great play without these vultures hanging around. How to fix this? GET TO A GAME, PEOPLE. You have to see this team.
