Braves Return Home To Take On The Tigers

The Atlanta Braves return home from their three-game trip of terror to the windy city's south side. The trip was not good to the Braves, as they were swept by the Chicago White Sox.

Atlanta will have Kris Medlen, Kenshin Kawakami, and Tommy Hanson on the mound. Medlen has been terrific lately, and this could be a competition between him and Kawakami to see who stay in the rotation once Jair Jurrjens returns next week. Kawakami is still win-less on the season at 0-and-9.

Hanson is coming off the worst start of his career in which he didn't strike anyone out and allowed nine runs in 3.2 innings against the ChiSox. It would be nice to get a good start out of him so we know that he's okay, and that his last start was just a fluke or growing pains. Hanson has shown the ability to bounce back from bad starts in the past.
