Hawks Trade Josh Childress To Suns

ESPN reports the Hawks will send guard/forward Josh Childress to the Suns. The deal is a sign-and-trade for Phoenix's 2012 second-rounder. The Hawks have retained the rights to Childress ever since he left the team after the 2007-08 season to play for the Greek Euroleague's Olympiakos team, which he seems to have led to a second-place finish last year. Seriously, see if you can make any sense of these standings.

Chilly averaged 11.1 points and 5.6 rebounds games during his four seasons as a Hawk. Along the way he graced us with both the league's prettiest 'fro and ugliest jumper, a middle-school chest heave that looked more like an attempt at closing an oven door than propelling an object through the air. Despite always looking incredibly blockable, it somehow developed the subtlest of arcs as it line-drove through the net more often than not.

Also, after two years in Greece, he looks so much more like from Bubbles from The Wire now. I know we said that all along, but we didn't realize how much more Bubbles-esque he could become.
