One paragraph recap:
It looked like it would be another easy ho-hum victory for the Braves. With a 4-2 lead going into the ninth they turned the game over to closer Billy Wagner, but the Hariston brothers were not about to go down so easily. With one out Scott Hariston blasted a solo homerun to cut the deficit to one run, then Jerry Hariston Jr. slapped a single and came around to score the game-tying run. That blew a great start by Tommy Hanson and a key homerun by Brian McCann.
The Braves don’t have long to wait as they turn around and face the Padres Thursday afternoon. For a full recap of last night’s game visit Talking Chop.
