Braves Shutout Padres Behind Hudson To Win Series

The Braves got back on the winning side thanks to a dominating performance from Tim Hudson. Coming off his worst start of the season, Hudson posted one of his best start of the season. He shutout the Padres on four hits and one walk over seven innings. The offense came mainly from Alex Gonzalez. The new Braves shortstop collected four hits and two RBI. Melky Cabrera was also on-base four times, and Chipper Jones had three hits to pace the Atlanta attack.
