Even though there have been rumblings about Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones and his merits for the baseball Hall of Fame, Jones thinks he might still be able to play another season.
Jones, who tore his ACL in earlier in the week, talked to the Atlanta Journal Constitution regarding a timetable for his rehab.
"I’m going to go through this rehab process, just like I was trying to get ready for spring training," Jones said. "I don’t know how the knee is going to respond. When I was 23 years old, I lost a step because of this surgery. If I lose another step, I’ll be going backwards. I don’t know how all that is going to turn out. I’m going to try my best to rehab to get it ready for spring training and we’ll see how it feels after that."
