Falcons 'Rise Up' To No. 26 In Forbes NFL Franchise Value Rankings

Forbes has published their annual valuation of NFL franchises. The Falcons rank number 26, up from number 30 in 2009.

Though the team's value slipped by $25 million to $831 million since last year, they've weathered the economic storm better than other lower-third teams. Ten teams slipped by as much or more than the Falcons did. And three teams -- Buffalo, St. Louis, and Jacksonville -- took double-digit tumbles. Almost two-thirds of the NFL's franchises are worth less than they were last year.

Atlanta finished in the bottom third in debt/value ratio and revenue, but has risen from number 15 to number 14 in operating income.
