NFL Dawgs And Yellow Jackets Game Balls, Week Two: Demaryius Thomas And Knowshon Moreno

This wasn't an easy choice, with Geno Atkins recording his first NFL sack, Morgan Burnett grabbing his first pick, Derrick Morgan adding a half sack to last week's entire sack, Calvin Johnson finally catching a referee-satisfying touchdown, and so forth.

But Bay Bay takes half the cake by producing 97 yards and a touchdown in his first NFL Game, especially after an injury-nagged offseason and lingering questions raised by modem-empowered intellectuals on whether he was capable of turning left and/or right after having spent his college time in an offense that involves flies, slants, outs, hitches, curls, screens, and drags HAHH SCHEWL AH-FINCE.

Teammate Knowshon Moreno chipped in 118 all-purpose yards of his own, plus a score, but I'm less worked up about all that because nobody spent any time typing scholarly analysis about his inability to run at angles.

Last week's game balls, never awarded because I only thought of this like one minute ago, went to Hines Ward for his 108-yard day agains the Falcons and Gary Guyton for his pick six against the Bengals
