Martin Prado Has Been Playing With Sore Groin

Martin Prado's sore groin may be a reason for his poor numbers this season, but he is not going to let him get in the way of playing down this stretch run.

Prado is batting just .244 with a .592 OPS this September and just .167 with a .405 OPS over the past nine games. His injury is obviously hurting his play, but he is determined to stay in the lineup.

Personally, this is obviously the incorrect decision. Prado's numbers for the year are still good, but a healthy Brooks Conrad could outproduce Prado at this point in time. Resting for a game or two would be wise, but I don't see Bobby Cox sitting Prado.
