Georgia State's Star Jackson Didn't Play Last Night Due To Suspension; Curry: 'Drew's The Quarterback'

Prized import quarterback, Star Jackson from Alabama, didn’t play last night after being “suspended for the first half of the game due to a violation of team rules regarding 'punctuality,'” according to Chris Deighan.

Panther Talk talkers are talking about said suspension being the result of missing the team buses the night before. Jackson had also missed four days of practice last week due to the flu according to the fan forum, giving Drew Little a boost up the depth chart.

Little threw for 135 yards in 17 attempts with no major mistakes. After the game, coach Bill Curry announced: “Drew’s the quarterback.”
